• How do I place an order?  All our standard products are displayed in this website. Please place your order online.  If you do not see what you are looking for please contact us for more information.
• What is the delivery time? Edible photos & toppers orders placed before 12pm will be posted on the following working day but we do officially state 1 week's delivery in case of low stock levels/busy periods. Details are shown at the checkout. 
  
• How long can I keep my Edible Photograph? The icing sheets can remain edible for several months, but we recommend that you use them within two weeks for the picture to remain sharp. You can decorate your cake in advance provided the cake itself will keep. 

• Are the icing sheets (edible paper/frosting sheets) EEC approved? Yes. Ingredients detailed here.
  

• Can I choose a delivery date for my cake? When you place your order you will be asked to select a delivery date. All orders are sent by regular postal service.  However, we recommend you choose a delivery date at least one day early than required in case of any delays.  Once your order is in the hands of the delivery service we have no control over the delivery.
• Can you deliver my order to a different address?  Yes, when you place your order you will see an option at the checkout for a separate delivery address.
• Can I order the cake from you too? Please contact us with your requirements and we are happy to consider any requests.
• Do you deliver toppers to multiple addresses?
  If you are sending gift topper to clients, suppliers or staff we can send them on your behalf with a gift invoice.  Please contact us with your requirements
• What is a Photo Cake or Edible Photo? We print edible cake-top decorations made from a sheet of icing with your image printed using edible ink. The icing sheets (also called frosting sheets) are made from real icing. They are not edible paper or rice paper, but a layer of real icing on a backing sheet. Your image is printed using special edible ink in a special dedicated printer. 
• Do you print on rice paper? Our edible photo cake decorations are printed on real icing, which is far superior to printing on rice paper (wafer paper). However, if you would like to create an edible document, for example as a party invitation we would be happy to do this. We can provide edible prints on various products including icing, rice paper, and wafer. Please contact us with your requirements and we are happy to consider any requests. 
• Are your products suitable for vegetarians? Our edible photo decorations are suitable for vegetarians and contain no wheat, gluten, dairy products, eggs or nuts. Click here for full list of ingredients
  
• What do the icing sheets taste like? The icing sheets have no noticeable taste.
  
• How do I send you my picture and what format can it be? You can send us your picture or photo using our upload facility, or attached to an email, or through the post for us to scan. Black & White photos work just as well as colour. Any image you send that could be printed on paper can be printed on icing as a cake decoration. We can accept most picture formats such as JPG, TIF, GIF, BMP, etc. and PDF. Please contact us if you have any questions on file formats.
• What size or resolution should my picture be? If you are scanning your own photo, usually a resolution of 75dpi is sufficient.  The higher the quality of your original picture, the better the finished result will be. The actual size of your picture is not important, we will enlarge or reduce it to fit your selected icing sheet, or print it to the exact size you specify. However, if you send a very small image then quality may be lost if it needs to be enlarged.
• Can I use your decorations on my own cake?  You can make your own photocake and decorate it with an Edible Photo, available by mail order. Full instructions will be enclosed and can be read by clicking the link at the top of this page.  You can bake your own cake and ice it, buy one already iced from a shop, such as a bakery or supermarket. Simply peel your image from the backing sheet and place it on your iced cake, or ask your baker or cake decorator to apply the decoration for you when they ice the cake.  You can have any kind of cake in any size - fruit, sponge, chocolate, or your favourite recipe.
• What kind of icing can I use if decorating my own cake? Edible Photos can be applied to almost any kind of icing such as fondant, royal icing, butter cream or glace icing. We do not recommend anything with a high moisture content such as whipped cream.The icing can be any colour, but dark colours (like chocolate) may make your image appear darker. 
• Can you make changes to my picture before printing it? We will print your picture exactly as you send it, enlarged or reduced to fit the size you choose.  We can crop your image at no extra charge - this is zooming in on a certain part of the picture to exclude unwanted edges. Your picture will be cropped to a rectangle or circle, depending on the shape of icing sheet you order.  Please specify any particular requirements on your order. 
  If you would like any other changes to your image, such as reducing red-eye or removing background objects, these can be provided for an extra charge.  Please contact us to discuss your ideas with us for a quote. We do not alter your original in any way. If you post us a printed photo we scan it first and make the changes to the scanned image.
• Do you return my original photo? All photos and pictures received in the post will be returned intact with your order.  We do not alter your original in any way - if you send us a photo, we scan it first and make any changes only to the scanned image.
